a 240 stocking idea

We just setup a 240 and moved outta the 75. no room for both.

currently:
1 6' red tiger Oscar
1 4" chocolate cichlid
4 3" Silver dollars
1 4" pitus cat

Can I add:
1 GT
1 maybe 2 JD
2 Green severums

Thinking of getting the adds as babies, maybe dividing tank untill growout. Would certain fish in certain sex make a differance? The current fish just went in today and haven't staked territory yet.
 
Yea, thats true. At this point we're not interested in fry or the extra aggression that goes with it.

Agreed completely.. Or To add. Maybe the jacks are male female and not compatible and one links up with one of the other fish and all attitude breaks loose ;)

I only say that as I had it happen with a breeding pair of jacks in my 250 that decided they were no longer compatible... And the male linked up with my female Cyanaguttas!! Ya All three needed to go as my wife had just barely bought my Black Aro who started being the punching post...

But sounds good and adequate stocking to me ;)

We're still moving thing around.

The current stock:
1 6" Osacr
4 4" SDs
1 4" chocolate
2 3 1/2" chocolate
4 3" turquoise severums
1 4 1/2" pictus cat
1 3" L177 gold nugget pleco

Had in but had to transfer right away (oscar thought it was dinner time):

2 2" large spot Bleekeri

The plan is as they growout to remove 1 chocolate & 2 severums. More hiding areas were added but they seems to want to hide together.
 
I lol'd when I saw the 6' oscar too. Nice tank though.
