I went out for a walk yesterday afternoon and I saw a meter maid writing a ticket and putting it on a car that was parked in front of a bar.I go in to the bar and there are about four patrons bending elbows so I yell out and describe the vehicle and situation outside and one of the patrons gets up and runs outside to the car.I notice that there was an infant carrier/car seat where this patron was just sitting and there was an infant in it.I'm in the doorway of the bar and the guy is too late the ticket was already issued and comes back inside and thanks me and returns to his seat and continues his drink.I'm sorry I tried to help him at this point and was ready to call the police but I just shook my head in disgust and walked out.With all of the bone headed laws that are on the books there has to be something that covers this.

ummm have you checked thier liscence it may well allow kids with their parents
and besides did you take time to speak with the group or are you just making a condescending judgement based on what you see with your eyes
perhaps in this case you should take the time to talk to the person
perhaps they are friends whove not seen each other for some time an wont again for some time and they wanted to see the baby etc.......

If the guy was knocking them back, then he's a horrible father.
If he's just having a beer, then its not much different than taking his baby to a restaurant with a bar.
It depends on the bar I guess.
As long as there isnt a bunch of smoking going on or bar fights. Just a peaceful neighborhood bar. Maybe not a problem.
Like I said though, if he's getting tipsy there at the bar, then I would deck him.
But a baby at a bar isnt the same as a baby locked in a car with the windows rolled up. I wouldnt judge too quickly.

Good points,I guess,I'm not much of a drinker so thats probably why the scene felt strange to me.I have'nt gotten around to checking their licsense,but it was a stripper bar so I dont know which licsense would allow children inside.chefjamesscott;2549354; said:
