Today was it, after almost $2,000 and a year and a half of nothing but headaches and stress I've drained my SW tank. I have spent more money than I needed spent more time then I should and have nothing to show for it except headaches and a butt load of I told you so's. Don't take me for being bitter because I'm not I'm glad I had the chance to own and care for some of the most amazing fish in the water kingdom from beautiful Moray Eels to the ugly/beautiful Angler, it's just I'm a F/T college student and work F/T, I have to pay bills and flushing $300 of fish down the toliet every other month is straining the check book and patience I have. SW is just not for everyone. I've spent a year and a half studying, researching and putting my all to my fish, a devotion I plan on commiting to my new Native tank(My dream). I've never seen so many fish just up and die while living in near perfect water conditions to quote my LFS, "Your cursed, you have a beautiful tank and fish but everything you touch in SW just dies." So with this final topic I bid farewell. I will no doubt try SW again when I have the time and money but for now I am working on completeing my dream, a Mississippi River set-up and I will still cruise this thread sharing expierences but for now Viper is FW.
