since wallago attu are native to srilnka i have the chance of getting one for just $30
he is 16 inches should i get him i have a 9 x 4 x 3 pond
 
i think its ok as long as they wont fight? cause i dont know what inside ur 9x 4 x 3 pond..if its all CATFISH it will be GREAT!! HAHAHAH

no worries there is a 12ft pond in my uncles place until he gets biggr he will be in my pond
 
this one was caught in the local rivers close to our house almost 4ft. the person who caught it decided to post an ad online to sell it for just $40

This as much about the size of tank / pond as it is about tank mates. At such sizes, I imagine few or no tank mates will survive even in a 12' pond... in a 50' pond it's a may be. Speaking only in theory, as I've never kept one, only read about them.

Of course, it'd be great to know from real keepers of such larger attus of 3'-4'. It may be that, since this fish is local to you, you are in position to educate us :) not vise versa.
 
i decided to release him back to the river best option
there several in srilanka i have even seen 3 inchers the local name for this fish is wallaya
