I lost my wife and my girl friend all in one week, If there was ever a bird in the hand story.
I separated from my wife about 2 years ago, but we always talk and are very close friends. I have been dating another woman for almost that whole 2 years. My girl friend gave me the love I wasn't getting from my wife but wasn't on my level in matters of real life.
I decided to try and go back to my wife, so I broke it off with my girl friend, and told my wife I wanted to be with her. We had talked about getting back together before all this. Then it happened my wife not only told me she didn't want me back, but told me some secrets she had from when we where married that broke my heart.
To top it off I realized that the love my girl friend gave me was worth more then the financial support my wife could have provided. However as with many things in life it was to late.
So I learned my lesson, and lost both of them, and my girl friend put up with my fish obsession, but didn't like it.
