This 180G tank contains a mix of CA cichlid species - Paratheraps breidohri, Vieja regani, Vieja argentea, Astatheros robertsoni 'Jutiapa', Paraneetroplus bulleri, and Herichthys pearsei. It is always a "beehive of activity" . Here you see a pair of 'breidohri' busily guarding a few of their fry.

If I had that much action in my tank I'd sell my tv.

Nice tank & video - love the breidohri! I saw you had bulleri listed but I didn't see any in the video. I'm interested in bulleri & paraneetroplus gibbiceps. I see them pop up on delaer stock lists often & the pics always look great, but I haven't found much info about them. What has your experience been with bulleri?

Thanks for the kind words.

I've only had the 'bulleri' for a couple of months and so far, there has been very little interaction between them. Like all the Paraneetroplus, Tomocichla and Theraps, they do like a tank with a current, and spend most of their time hugging the bottom. They're certainly a different sort of cichlid, with their very elongated shape.

Awesome tank, would luv to see a fts. Thoses Breidohri look great, l wish we had them in the aus.

Yes, I find the 'breidohri' are very different from the other Paratheraps species. Very unique coloration and behaviorally they are really "going concerns" (ie. very active and interactive). And they are breeding like rabbits. I'll see if I can get a FTS soon.
