wondering best food to feed these 2 fish. in my 60 i have 5 frontosa, 1 calvus, 1 compressiceps, 2 electric yellows that i couldn't get rid of when i changed the bio type of my tank. im feeding them frozen blood worms now, but i did read they like a variety. please inform me of this variety. thanks

also the calvus and the comp are not being as compadible as i thought they would be. are these 2 fish natural enemeies or competitors for food? the calvus lunges for the comp every chance he gets. they are both very similar in size but the calvus is a tad bigger. the tank is filled with texas holey rock from top to bottom so there is plenty of territory and hiding places for these 2 fish to be very happy. please help, i want these fish to live together for a very long time.

A good pellet like NLS should be there staple diet. Supplemented w/the bllod worms or any other frozen food like mysis and krill.

Comps. and Calvus will always jockey. Usually nothing fatal, but serious battle wounds need to be watched and taken care of. I have a male Yellow Comp. and a male Black Calvus that always spar. If they are not eating they are chasing each other. Again, nothing serious, but I always check them for scars or wounds.

NLS and Tetra Color bits. Helps bring out the yellows and reds.
Calvus and Comps can live together, like any other fish they will fight for dominance.
