thank you. They're not that aggressive when they're small. He's pushing 7" now and he kills pretty much anything new that's introduced into the tank immediately. I used to keep them with livebearers but he got sassy and killed the ameca splendens, and then I added sailfin mollies and he killed the male. The other day i added 5 platies and he bit all their heads off like as fast as he could catch them.

They're CA cichlids after all...

dogofwar has his dad. He's like 8" and he bangs glass...
 
Great pair and great shots! All you need now is a remote flash.

How big do the females get? My adult female is only about 4".

Nice pics. Check ur ISO settings the first few pics look a bit grainy. Watch with using ur flash. Some shots u can see the reflection off the tank.
