who would they sit down with, without a brawl breaking out? in other words i need a tankmate idea. something big and strong enough to hold its own, but not cause trouble.

Nice...All of my pikes are good tank mates to non pikes...Pikes will also attack plecos. I think jags are too belligerent at times...I would pass on that. So really, anything the pike can not fit in its mouth, and something that will back down the GG if it tries to get at its eyes....
