I have a pair of JDs and a pair of Convicts. The Jds are 6-6.5 inches. The convicts are like 2.5 inches and 1.75 inches. They're all together in my 85 gallon long tank with a small GT and a baby mayan. I have plenty of flat rocks for the JDs to lay on, I even taped a mirror to the side of the tank. I have heard convicts aren't picky but I gave them a cave anyways. The convicts have been together for almost a week and the JDs around 2 weeks. I don't think the convicts have paired up but the Jds have for sure. Still no eggs. The female seems to have something starting to bulge around her lower regions and almost looks like something is starting to come out, but doesnt look like poop. Where is the egg tube in relation to the butt? Any tips?

Really, no advice? These are like 2 I'd the most commonly bred fish nobody has advice. Hahaha shame

she's gonna look like she's full and i don't know about everybody else but mine are by themselves.... id try to put them alone or take the convicts out and see what happens.
What your probably seeing is her tube dropping witch mean she getting ready.

The "tube" doesn't seem to have moved since I first saw it. How long should it take for it to come out?
