A couple FlowerHorn breeding questions

1.How long after the female lays the eggs does it take the male to fertalise them?

2.If the eggs hatch,how long should i leave the female in with them?


Any help will be greatly appreciated

1- Right after the eggs are laid the male Fertalises them.

2-I would probably just let the parents take care of the fry at first... if you think that the fry are in danger of being eaten than remove the parents but its not neccesary. (If this is the first spawn than the parents are not experienced so they probably will eat the fry or will not take good care of them) but with time they learn and become great parents.
