I shot a couple of new pics today and thought I'd share. They're not great, but you get what you pay for.

Behind the OB Peacock: another neon jewel cichlid

Reddish fish above and to the right of the OB Peacock: Auloncara Rubescens (Ruby Red Peacock)

Surrounding the OB Peacock and Ruby Red Peacock: 4 Labidochromis Caeruleus (Yellow Labs)

Unkown to me Malawi cichlid (any hints?)

Nice fish. I have a jewel in my mbuna tank, and he thinks he owns the tank only backing down to a female kenyi. But the thing is it claims places that were dug out by other fish (sand substrate) and i never notice it digging on its own. They really are mini monsters.

My fish seem to get along well. That is, except for the female Kenyi I just traded. That Kenyi ate the eyes out of my plecos and almost destroyed his fins. All the Kenyi did was chase fish. I traded the Kenyi on Teusday to my cichlid store for the Astaotilapia latifasciata (Zebra Obliquidens) in the 3rd pic.

I had taken the Kenyi in from my sister-in-law. She was going to cull it because all it did was stress out her fish. Everybody else in my tank does well together (even the 5 tetras).

I have not been able to do plants in my tanks. How are they holding up?

The green ones you can see in the picture are doing well. They don't get eaten. I have a reddish, taller plant in the back and it's being nibbled to pieces though. I honestly don't know the names of either, but I'll try to find out.

One my attempt in my African tank my yellow labs pulled up all the plants.

I've been told by MFK member WyldFya that they are anubias.
