1: My first question is how do you feed your stingrays worms? When I feed my stingray frozen blood worms I fill a cup up with boiling water, put the cube in and spin the water in the cup until the worms are all separate. Once they are separate I will place them in the tank the the stingray will swim around eating them. When feeding him live black worms I just rinse them and put them in.
In both cases the worms will go all over the tank. Does this matter? The stingray is able to access most areas of the tank, except a corner which I have my filter, heater and a bunch of lava rocks. I was thinking of using one of the worm feeder cones has anyone used these for their rays.

2: I picked up my stingray a couple of weeks ago. There were four stingrays in the tank, but one was dead. I had the pet store worker feed the rays and choose the one that looked like it was eating the best. The ray had a shorter tail then the others in the tank, but still looked healthy so I took him. The tank was labeled teacup stingrays and yellow back , but they all looked the same to be. yellow back ray is also a made up name.
The stingray I got appears to be a Retic I just want some confirmation on this. I will also like to know if the tail looks normal?
