Female (left) Male (right) Aldabra tortoises. Female is 60lbs, male is 50.

Nice tortoises! What do you feed them. I have two Spur Thighs that are up to 5 heads of Rommaine per day.

Nice tortoises! What do you feed them. I have two Spur Thighs that are up to 5 heads of Rommaine per day.

They get fed a variety of greens including dandelion greens, collards, swiss chard etc. etc. They are also free to graze during the summer and get a nice hefty size pile of mazuri tort diet to eat once a week.

That's quite the collection. Are they kept outdoor this time of the year?

How big is that leucy alli snapper? I have never seen one get passed about 8 inches SCL, and I would love to see a big one. That ones not too big, but I hope you have better luck with him than some other people. They seem to just die for absolutely no reason. My buddy just lost one a few months back, while the remaining 9 of his are fine, all normals.

Thanks! The torts are outside for the summer. The FRTs are patiently waiting for me to finish the outdoor pond I've finished and the ASTs could care less =)
