cant wait but seems like a lot of windex being put use though
there glass is actually fairly strong, regardless the technology they are displaying is a ploy for more RD funding
Very interesting video, i know they have panes of glass now available that turn from clear to frosted at the flick of a switch, but what they have in that video is seriously crazy...
I wonder how much it would cost for own some of that tech when it comes out... coz i know the clear to frosted glass is damn expensive...

its really the actually driver unit and display type, not the actual class that is expensive, expect in some special cases such as the heat resistant display.
OLED screens are fairly expensive, they're typically the ones that bend around shapes, LCD are fairly cheap.
there are many DIY projects close to what a consumer would want.

no one makes touch screens over 22 inchs AFAIK however, you could make a matrix of screens if you really thought it was necessaries.
However, i think we all agree that "touch" is dumb when you could just use a camera like the one in the connect and navigate that way.
