I was looking for a Canon XSI or a Nikon d60. But after reading around and talking to friends, I decided to go with a Nikon d80.. Just found a used on for $400..Will be picking if up this Saturday. Woohoo!!

Food wifes friend a Canon XTI at office max or office depot for about $300 on clearance. Saw a XTI at sears for about $320. I'd call around (office supply stores, sears, target, etc) to see if they are clearancing out last years model you can probably find great deals on both Canon and Nikon.

Nikon 60D is a good intrem level camera. like mine.
