Beautiful tank and fish. I used to keep a fw moray like that one, he was a serious escape artist. One time he jumped out behind the tank and was stuck above stand behind a 92g corner tank. I had to move all the fish, drain tank ( wish i would have fully drained it), move tank away from wall. The eel survived the tank didnt =/.

Yea...damn. Never, ever do this...but now everyone on this thread already knows that.

This is also the reason you ask all CL tanks to be shown to you filled and running, you never know what stupid stuff the previous owner did to it.

I hope the "FW" eel lives a long and happy life, it would be cool to keep him in a planted forever like that.

You have a bizarre assortment of fish but they all look healthy and nice. Congrats.

Nice. Be careful though. Eel bites hurt and get infected easily.

Thanks everyone! It's my favorite tank to watch. A lot of cool things going on.. The rams are excellent! All male though. I've been looking for a few females but can't find them...

nice tank! love the fish! Was it hard to grow plants in pea size gravel and do you use co2?

The plants grow fantastic!! They reproduce at an amazing rate. So much I use them to plant my other tanks... Nothing like free stuff.. No I do not use CO2... No high tech lights. Nothing special. Regular stock lighting no high wattage. In fact there are only 1 bulb per ballast.
