Hey everyone I'm brand new to MFK but no new to the fish world I have been keeping them for about 10 years now.

But I need some opinions on my 55 gallon about another fish I could add. Currently I have 1 4 inch Jack Dempsey and 4 spotted pictus catfish adults 4.5 inches. As of right now the JD is laid back for the most part and I'm looking to add maybe one of the following.

Striped Raphael Catfish
Snowball Pleco
Red Tailed Black Shark
Starlight Bristlenose pleco
Silver Dollars
Giant Danios

Would any of these work? Also here is some additional tank information. I have 2 marinleand penguin 350s for filtration, I keep the water at 76 degrees and I perform 50% weekly water changes.

I'd go the stripped Raphael route it would do fine with that stock.

Your bioload would most likely be fine as long as you don't add too many fish. As far as the red tail shark is concerned, they can be very territorial and aggressive at times.

welcome to MFK, IMHO you are about stocked, I do agree with the raph cat. I would not get anything larger.
