The beani are kind of in between genus at the moment, often referred to as xCichlasoma.
Nandopsis has been restricted to only, the island cichlids of the Caribbean, tetracanthus, haitiensus and ramsdeni.
Matt, I haven't had any cyanoguttatus since the 60s, so if you have pics, please add them to the thread.
I love to see the Santa Tecla.

Wow I didn't realize Beani were Herichthys...for some reason I thought they were Nandopsis. Ya learn something everyday I guess. Lol
