What type of snail is to the right of the algae ball? What kind of algae?

Thanks

It is a mushroom coral. Cucumber, Tiger Tail, Holothuria thomasi I believe and sooner or later it will starve to death as it gets up to 2 meters long, I personally don't believe these should ever be sold (any cucumber for that matter) as they rarely last in most tanks. Snail probably some sort of cerith, snails are super hard to ID without very close inspection, and even then still almost impossible to find the specific snail. Algae... looks like feather Calupera I believe.

Thanks for your feedback. The two cucumbers were in some rocks I got from somebody. Is there anything I can supplement the cucumbers diet with. I don't think it is a feather Calupera, the one I have has more of a grass like blade. Here are some better pictures.

Not much you can do for the Cucumbers, they filter feed the sand by sucking it in, digesting algae/bacteria etc off the sand, then pass it in an odd tube shaped lump. Just keep an eye on them, so you can remove them if they die.

I should be getting my overflow box tomorow. Should I move them to the sump when it gets here. The mushroom corals are getting big.

Oh and not sure about the algae... lol. Um I would just leave them in the display unless you have a lot of sand in your sump. They are small enough that they shouldn't be able to nuke your tank if your careful.
