for all those who have kept or have a frilled dragon i ahve a few questions.

1- what diet would you recomed. he is full grown. the best diet i have read is 24 3/4 crickets 12 super worms every three days, and 1 frozed small adult mouse every fourth day. is there any thing i missed or anything better or better regumend

2- what basking area temputure
thakns guys

Where did you get that info? ROFLMAO .... how can they measure the intake a reptile takes at one particular day or another. It would really depend on the sex, temps, age to which you can measure the intake of their food.

Basking temps 120 ambients from 80's to 70's

The few I know that have them here feed them at will, 2-3 times a day every day for babys, and once or twice every day or every other day for adults. The staples are crickets, mealworms, superworms, locusts ,mullberry worms and roaches, all gut loaded. Some very rarely will take some fruit or veggys. The rest as Varanio said

Oh and none of them use mice, wich doesant seem to afect the dragons. They are all triving, but the guys that have them give great care

I wouldnt give your frills mice, they are lizard eaters in the wild and will have a hard time with the fur. I would feed them anoles, wormed ones, they may me less cost affective but will save you problems in the future. roaches are even a better option easy to raise and provide a great food source. Also just a heads up they are really afraid of dogs they will stress them out, other than that have fun with them they are a great lizard and will become very tame as time goes on.
