snapped a few quick shots this evening, primarily to get some pics of the juvenile Cubans, but also took a few of the 120g gar/bichir tank--

photos labeled in order:

a few shots of the juvenile Cubans (right around 4-5"...tiny!)
you can tell how small the fish is using the thermometer for reference :)

couple bichirs from the 120g...
juvenile endlicheri
juvenile lapradei
...and a tropical gar.

The Polys look top notch Sol.

thanks for the comments guys :)

cohazard - yeah, i bought that particular lapradei specifically because i liked its contrasting green. my other larger lapradei (seen in the pic with the juvie endli) has almost no pattern at all, but has grown quite large since picking him up a year ago).

peanut - haha "the algae look" :) yeah, in the 120g there are crypts popping up all over from the big main plant, but i haven't bothered messing with the tufts of algae that have also covered a good portion of the substrate...at least it adds a bit more natural look to things, and the bichirs/gars don't seem to mind! the bogwood used to have a lot of algae on it until i put in a royal pleco which got rid of all of it to get to the wood.

as for the "big boys" i will see if i can get updates of those fish in the near future!

thanks again for the comments, and i will try to get more pics up (and continued updates on the Cubans) soon--
