GLVery nice. I'm partial to Carl of course as I'm looking to breed my males and am trying to find a handful of females to join them in their 60 planted tank. Was wondering--what tankmates is Carl with?

im certainly no expert and could be completely wrong but your "acara" looks more like a green terror to me?

No it is a female blue acara she was part of a breeding pair. That's not the best photo of her. I'm 100% sure it is a blue acara I have had her for about a year now. She does not have any orange on the end of her tail and is peacful. Orange on the end of the tail is a sure way to tell if it's a GT. I had to order them online from thatpetplace to get them.
She could be a hybrid because many of our "blue acaras" in trade are not pure Aequidens Pulcher. Much like how our heros are mutts. Some where along the way many have been mixed with other types of Aequidens because they do look so much a like.
