I also have a breeding pair of Festavum that I'm almost positive are Mesonauta mirificus. I'll down lod some pics with fry when I get home. I'm aslo working on breeding a pair of P. Altum but so far have not had any sucess but I think they are still a little young.

Hey tom, great looking bunch.do you still have any of these pairs? I want to keep RTM pair someday, how rough was your male with her, how big of a tank did you keep them

The Motas and Trimacs are long gone. The Motas were very cool breed about every three weeks if I would pull the fry. I had them in a 75. The male was about 9" and the female about 7" they were great parents. I had a hollow log type thing for the female so she could escape from the male I had then together for about two years. One day he killed her after that I gave him away. The trimacs went to a friend of mine the male was excelent with the fry they breed about 6 times I had them in a 90 but it was a little small for them a 125 would have been better. THe Krobia went to George at Shark Aquarium, I don't know he might have kept them for his home tank.

Here's the Mesonauta mirificus (?) still not 100% any input would be helpful. These fish paired and bred at a very young age.

Thanks.

Wow, that pair of Trimacs' is stunning and so is that female Mota! It's too bad you let them go. Those Tapajo's are pretty sexy too! I was thinking of buying a group of Winemilleri or Abalios myself and try my hand at breeding them. Thanks man for the great share.
