Here's a few pics of my 220g. All south american fish, yes I know not all cichlids. But I don't visit the other forums on here much so they all are going here;).

Thanks, I'm usually to lazy to poste pics. I have a ton of fry from the heros atabapo pair. I still have about 400 1" ones left. Shoot me a PM if you want some of them.

Thanks! I may just take you up on that. Wow that's allot of fry. Have you worked out how many days to wait before stripping the fry?

ps - my bad on my spelling, havent had my coffee yet. "atabopo" lol..

I have just been leaving the last few batches. They can generally protect them for about 3.5-4 weeks from the time they lay until they dissappear. If I'm going to pull them I either strip on day 6 from time of the eggs being laid or wait untill I see them released and net out a bunch of them. I have 2 batches growing out so I'm not going to pull anymore for a while. One batch is 1" now and the other is about 0.5". They seem to have about 600-800 per spawn which seems huge to me for a mouth brooder.

Looks good! You have a really nice variety of fish.

How long has it been running? It has a sort of "new" look about it.
