Thought I would post some pics of Astrid my Jaguar Cichlid.

Very personable fish. He or she is a little over 6 inches long and has a voracious appetite. I am leaning to think it may be a female because of the striping. What do you all think?

Very nice jag. I wanna say female but I'm not sure. At 6 inch I'd expect more of a round body for female

Do you have any other fish in the tank?

Yes the Jaguar shares the 75 gallon with an Oscar, Lima Shovelnose Catfish and a Common Pleco. They are all about to be moved to a 150 gallon within 2 to 3 weeks....currently building the stand.

Nice jag...i can't call the sex...but lean towards female..51%...pattern still seems to be developing...changes will occur i believe when you move it to the 150...
