They look very nice I have similar taste ,how big are your rope s mine are at 10-11 inches and have been growing relatively fast .
Like yours mine sort of get all over the place with there mad swim along's any fish is invited .
How big is your eel and is it M. favus I have one at 12 inches he is getting very tame now.
Only just put a 10inch weeksii in the tank funny how the eel whent up and had a sort of body rub to say hello then my male polleni came down and swam on his side to get a better look , it was a bit like all the players coming down to say hello to the new boy on the block .
The ropes new there was something strange in the tank and sort of pulled away after brief contact.
Great fish though what are you feeding your ropes on ? and how often?

What is the diet of your bichirs particularly the ropes?
 
theres 4 ropes 2x like 13"-14" 1x around 10" and 1 like 8" the fire eel is like 6-7" the ropes eat earthworms is there fav beef heart market shrimp minnows anchovies and mealworms and the plant is 2 help them eat
 
I like the bichir setup but with so many ropes your tank is snakelike. Other than too many ropes I like the other bichirs. Those are some of the fattest rope I've ever seen. That delhezi looks familiar. Where did you get it from?
