the female is in a shell only comming out to chase the other fisih away and to eat well the male is out on duty so do u think theres eggs in there now??

Most people probably haven't kept them as they are hybrids and not common at all in my area. If you do a search on this site or a google search for "jelly bean cichlids" some answers to your questions will be there. And relax for a while, a lot of people are working or driving home and can not answer questions within a half hour during the late afternoon.

The behavior you have described sounds to me like standard convict breeding behavior. I would probably guide off that until I saw something different.

thats a con for you makeing fry when there pretty much still a fry it will lay more and more eggs as it grows

if he does let me use it can i put the pair and eggs in there tell the eggs hatch then remove the parents? just asked him now waiting for a reply
