Hello all,

This is my first sump setup, so please bear with me. I recently upgraded my 220 to a new perfecto one with 2 corner overflows. My sump is an All Glass model 4. It is going to still be a FW African tank. My questions are as follows:

1) My bulkheads are set up for hard plumbing. When I plumb to the sump should I just use 90 degree elbows or should I go with 90 sweeps to increase flow a bit?

2) I have used the pump sticky above (thanks very helpful) and have chosen a MAG 18. I would just like to know if anyone has experience running a MAG 18 on a 220?

Thanks in advance

I'd recommend a sweeper. If you do go with a hard 90 remember that for every 90 degree bend, you increase the head length by one ft.
