Ok, I am setting up my two tanks 20 gal. and 55. All I have for substrate is sand and I was woundering if I could use it. The sand I got was for my saltwater tank. It's call Aragonite made by CaribSea would this effect water chemestry to much in my tanks? And my second question is LMB taken from the wild will eat feeders right? My friend just setup a nice 275 gal. and wanted to know if they would eat then before he thinks about capturing one.

a wild large mouth will eat feeders, no doubt. not sure on the sand. if it was rinsed well i don't think there'd be a problem
 
it may leach a little calcium but that's it.
are you gonna put a bass in the 55 w/ sand?
 
I was going to look into getting a smaller LMB or SMB and move it to my larger 180 im getting in a few months.
