I went to home depot to look for 3m colorquartz, all they had was a generic white play sand. Would this be ok? Or can anyone recommend a place near Maryland that would sell colorquartz or a place to get it from online.

Can anyone recommend the best place to buy little slabs of slate? I am building a rockscape for another tank.

Can anyone recommend a good glass top for a 75 gallon? I bought an all glass aquarium glass top and the fitment is awful. I am thinking about just buying a plastic hood.

Can someone recommend a good flourescent light? Do you guys use a certain kind of bulb?

play sand will be messy but would work. for 3m call some pool supply stores, or look at 3m's website to find a dealer near you, if the 75 gallon is for the ray tank, i would really think about if you can upgrade in a few months as the ray WILL out grow that fast.

i would just go buy a 180 and then you can upgrade tank from there and that 75 gallon will be a perfect sump

Man i would love to, but we are stuck in this apartment for another 9 months and 75g is the limit

Anyone out there have any answers to the lighting/slate question?
