how do you determin sex of a silver arowana. I have a 26" silver and want to get him/her a mate...will they fight or maybe i could luck out and have them breed.

i am thinking about adding a turtle to my tank. What kind of turtle could live moslty underwater in a SA cichlid tank.

I dont think you can sex a silver or any arowana. I mite be wrong thow....

A turtle is a very bad idea as almost all turtles will nip, attack, and/or kill any fishes that they're kept with.

Mating is rare in a tank.

U can get a fly river turtle. They will nip on bottom dwellers like birchir or sting rays bc they r slow n think its food. They will leave aros alone bc aro swims back m forth constantly

They're mouthbrooders, to a certain extent, thus apparently the overbite suggests male, and the female's jaws mesh properly... and they look cleaner, better. Females are also heavier bodied.
