If anyone has an idea if it's male or female, let me know, I'm aware they're hard to tell at a smaller size. This one is about 5-6"s maybe?

I would say that it's still early to sex, but I would guess male. I've grown out a few 6" and was fooled. Here's my decent sized male with his ex-wife.

Thank you, the plan is to get a 150+ gallon tank and find a male/female pair with probably some other cichlids of some kind. Nothing crazy, but just to fill the tank out some.
