Id go with 2 ac110. Amazon 65$ a pop, great filter lasts a lifetime! Although canisters are imo the best they are incredibly pricey!

I second the Aquaclear 110. Good filter for the price if you are on a budget and have a nice amount of space to throw media on top. Also provides nice water flow for the fish.

I use 1 sump for a 150 gal, a 75 and a 50. In another room I use a sump for a 125,a 75, a 40, and a 60gal. One pump for each bank of tanks, each sump has the heater, a filter sock or 2, and any other hardware. Very economical energy wise, and easy to do maintenance on. And if I want to add another tank, its only the cost of PVC to run another line, and finding space.

sponge filters ona an air pump....cheap easy and literally last FOREVER
