So while traveling from Detroit to Wisconsin, I stopped by Josh's (ray777) in Chicago to pick up a couple of AC110s and ended up with this little guy. Its kinda funny cuz I'd been harassing Mike (csx4236) for a few weeks about purchasing 1 or 2 of his Mantilla/motoro hybrids but had been majorly procrastinating. Josh was no longer interested in the ray he did purchase from mike so I ended up buying it off of Josh and saving shipping (Sorry Mike-I might want another though!).
When Mike first posted the pics of the hybrid pups, I recalled saying "When I order mine, I hope I don't get that one!" referring to (IMO) the least attractive pup. And of course, it was the pup Josh had purchased.
But as I was reviewing some photos I took of him today, he kind of looks (IMO) like some variation of a P. Shroederi (True Flower Ray). More so his markings than his color. Based on this observation, I am now eagerly anticipating what he will look like when his coloration develops a little more.
He is a little on the skinny side but eats like a pig so I imagine he'll fatten up really quickly. Here are some pics. Do you see a resemblance or am I just trippin'?
