A friend for Bitey?

So I was at the LFS today just looking around and spotted a RBP in one of their 10g's (Almost all of the display tanks are 10g's). He's about 6ish inches long, if I were to guess, and doesn't look to pleased with his situation. They want $25 for him, and my questions are...

1) Should I not even bother since my tank is a 29g (30 1/4 x 12 1/2 x 18 3/4)? Bio-load shouldn't be a problem, but space...

2) If I DO get him, what can I do to ensure he gets along with Bitey (~8" of hate)? Flood the tank with feeders for a week or two?

3) I am suddenly very interested in these fish! HELP!

I think that the nitrates would get out of hand. If you have a bigger tank to move it to in the future, then I would consider it.

Don't do it. With Ps, you want to keep either 1 or a shoal. Keeping 2 will most likely result in one getting the **** kicked out of it. And, $25 isn't a good deal for a floater.

Yeah, that was my other concern after browsing other threads. As bad as I'd like to get it, I'll have to wait until I'm rich and famous and buy a couple.

I have a pair of redbellys living together for over a year and they do fine, but they are also with a pacu.... dont know if they think he's one of them or what lol
