Make sure your heaters are plugged in and working, it's starting to get cold.

"Make sure they work" is excellent advice. Just because you see a light on or a heater controller displays that it's working does not mean the heater element is in good shape. A titanium heater w/heater controller looked like it was working last fall on my FRT's tank. The water was actually 74F due to the heater's core elements failing. Almost lost my FRT to hypothermia. It's a good thing I buy my heaters by the case to ensure I have ready-to-use spares on hand.

Keep a spare heater on hand for emergency replacement. The cost of a spare is far outweighed by the investment you have in your fish.

Agreed I heat with hot water but I still have 4 large heaters around in case I need one or two for something.

I remember reading about FaRT when you saved him. It was an amazing story AND the reason I constantly check my heaters...

I had 2 near misses with FaRT's tank. Both temperature related. 1st event was a blown heater element leading to hypothermia. The other was a dislodged thermal lead that led to thermal runaway raising the tank to +110F. I looked around for a means to help me monitor his temp more closely. I found these thermometers with high and low temp alarms. They were less than $10 each off of eBay so, I bought a half-dozen to keep around for peace of mind. $10 to help keep a $2K turtle safe is a no-brainer good investment.
