A good cave

It seems that having a cave to hide and lots of plants reduce aggression, It allows them to have a theritory

if you have anything else in your tank that would want to hide in there the rainbow shark will fight with it... rainbow sharks are dicks...

True though, you'll want more than one hiding place.

nope I am just restockibg the tank. Right now there is 2 platies and 2 common goldfish. Yes i know goldfish in a tropical tank.

Don't be surprised if the Rainbow chases the Platies around the tank. Mine harasses my 2 Mickey Mouse Platies all the time.

my rainbow shark killed my platys

and a butterfly koi and it was well over twice the size of him....


get something meaner...

Mean but cool fish. I hope it gets big enough for my 75 gallon. I can put it in the 120 if needed. i read to only get to 5"
