A good tank divider?

I'm breeding crayfish in a 40g breeder tank. it's 36.5Lx18(3/8)Wx17T.


The divider needs to be good enough so that it does not let new born crays climb through. I thought about a peice of acrylic, but i would like to be able to move the divider(s) around to change to pens.

Any suggestions for a non-permanate divider material?

I looked at the stuff at Petsmart and they wern't big enough.

I use egg crate when I need to divide for breeding. But im sorry to say I have no idea how big baby crays are.. .If you think eggcrate will work you can buy it at any hardware store or wallmart they also sell the same stuff as "light diffusers"
