My landlord has decided that I'm no longer allowed to drain my fish water outside, saying it'll cause flooding and stuff. (like a couple hundred gallons could cause any flooding. bleh. I live in portland for christ sake, it rains 8 months out of the year)

So now I have to drain it into the bathtub. However due to height differences, it makes water changes take a lot longer. is there a nice cheap pump that I could use for water changes?

Try lowes and homedepot in the gardening but its cheaper at Harbor Freight. I think for 50$ you can get pond pump from harbor freight with good head. If you want a nicer pump then try quietone 4000 high head

I bought a pond pump from HD during the off season but any cheap submersible pump will work, just depends on the height difference and how fast you need it to be.
