We also saw a GIANT leatherback that had to of been at least a thousand pounds, a big green sea turtle and a small kemp ridley. The first two came within feet of us. It was a great day.

By then we were about half way in. We went out about two miles. She is very comfortable in the water, besides the worst thing that could happen is we roll the yak and fall in. All we'd have to do is get back in it which is pretty easy. We would lose our rods though so that would suck.
