he's about 11" now. absolutly mesmerizing to watch swim and hunt. he can eat a ton of food if you let him though. before i got a feeder tank i would just let 10-15 1.5" goldfish into the tank to satisfy him for a while but after a month of growning he was able to take down 10 fish over night! if you have the space to house a fish this big i would put a clown knife on your wish list. mine has been perty fast grower (went from 5" to 11" in a bout 2.5 months!) and has been able to withstand the unfortunate nitrite spike i had right after i got him. to summarize clown knifes are sweet.
 
I agree, they are great fish:)
