I was recently (last night) convinced by my partner to shift gears with my hybrids.

I wont go into the details now but as a result of these changes I have several sb fish listed on AquaBid under this name. Including my sb Kamfa and Fader Killins. Better move fast kiddies, pretty sure they won't last long. 10% discount to all MFK members.

I also have some Green Terrors listed that supposedly carry the short body gene. If they do they don't express it much, perhaps with some selective breeding they could look a little better.

That short body you bought on aquabid looks hardly like it did in the picture they provided.

Enough so that I mentioned it in an email to the seller. After careful study of the fish I still can't be certain if it's the same pictured in the auction or not. The color is almost exactly the same (although my pics don't show it) but the marking's over the head make it questionable. Regardless the one I received is of very high quality and is virtually identical to the auction pic.

I've come down a bit in price on both auctions. The sb is going for $200, the killins are $80 for all of them. Prices will NOT go down anymore...I may even raise them again next time I relist them. They were well worth my orginal asking price.

Good deal on the Fader killins. If I had room I would consider purchasing them. Somebody should scoop them up, They will be nice growouts.
Is that a female SB? Its not a Kamfa, Looks stunted as well. $200 is a bit overpriced.

It is a male sold to me as a kamfa for $200...that is not overpriced, he is def priced according to current market value...underpriced maybe. Just try importing an FH of similar quality for less...

Its not a Kamfa,

If he is not kamfa then how do you explain all his kamfa traits? The face alone screams kamfa...and the markings and fins are classic kamfa.

...Looks stunted as well.

This statement (in reference to ANY FH but especially in reference to an sb fish) lets me know just how seriously to take any post you make in this thread.
May I ask just how you came to this conclusion with an sb fish? The only visible indicator you could possibly be using (with any accuracy) would be overly large eyes and I dont see that with this fish.
Not to mention well over 50% of the FH currently on the market (US and overseas) are stunted. Any large fish that is raised in a five gallon sized (or less!) cubicle is stunted...hello?
