I have treated this with MelaFix (5 days) then, PimaFix (5 days) Maracyn - Two (5 days) and Paraguard (4 days), with out any improvement. It appears to be spreading on his body, but not to his prior tank mates.

Water parms:
Nitrates never have been above 45ppm, 0 ammonia, 0 nitrites

He eats and acts normally, nothing out of the ordinary in his habits.
I believe to be viral, but would like comments on diagnosis and treatment. He is in a QT tank.

TIA.

During treatment, no purigen, no carbon, no UV in use. Temp 80F, extra air into tank.

Tank tested Monday, 04/24
Nitrate - 10ppm, Nitrite - 0, Ammonia - 0, Temp: 79.5, pH 8.3 (normal)

Since many fish diseases look similar its very hard to tell.
At first I thought bacterial, but...
It could be lymphocystis which is viral, and does "not" respond to treatment, in fact treatment often hurts rather than helps. With lymph the fishes immune system must do the job, and a bunch of chemical cocktails added to the tank are often hard on the infected immune system.
Think viral, like a cold, there is no cure except healthy, stress free conditions.
I had some breidhori which arrived with lymph from the stress of shipping (lymph is ubiquitous like a common cold) Lots of water changes and a stress free environment cured them in a couple days.

if you want to try and boost the immune system you can try Vitamin C. I use the capsule that are pure Vit C. Use 400mg per 20 gallons. I only do this once typically and you do need decently buffered water or you may drop your pH
