Back in action!
I picked these 6 guys up a couple of months ago. They're in a 6 ft 125. They were in a 215 and water changes were not kept up. They all have HITH and a couple had wounds on thier flanks. I treated them for 2 weeks with melafix and then for 2 weeks with metro. The treatments helped but they still have some way to go. They're quite nasty with each other and the smallest one has since died. I'll give them another month and then do another treatment with Jungle HITH meds this time around.

You can't really tell, you really have to look to see the HITH. Awesome fish man! Definately keepers!! :D Don't give up on the HITH, it doesn't look too severe, so it should be treatable!

i am sorry to pick this up and tell you but there is a hole in the head in the last couple of pics.... or i am wrong..

Thanks for the positive comments!

They all have HITH to some degree. It's no secret. Some worse than others. The good news is that it looks like the largest male and female are pairing off. They're sharing a flowerpot as I type this. :headbang2
