a little advice.

right now I have a 55. 6 convicts (2.5-4"), 1 JD (3"), 1 Oscar (5"), 1 Red Devil (6"), and a neddlenose gar (5"). planning on setting up a 75 in a couple months. just asking for some oppinions on shich fish to put in which aquarium.

I was thinking about keeping the convicts in the 55 and putting the rest in the 75 (I plan to keep getting bigger aquariums as needed). Or setting up the 75 for the CA's and keeping the gar and oscar in the 55.

I would keep the Convicts and JD in the 55.

Put the rest of them in the 75. But you would be better off just getting a much bigger tank for the Oscar, RD, and Gar now if it is at all possible.

not really possible, live in an apartment. the gar is cool, though doesn't bother the other fish and they don't bother him. the needlenose isn't a true gar, either, only gets to about 12".

another issue I have is that the oscar will eat almost every feeder I put in there. I literally have to drop a dozen for my gar to get one. I swear my oscar could win an eating contest.

guess not. he went through 36 feeders in less than 24 hours once.
