I have a 125 gal tank that for some reason is a little green in the water... I have three filters running all the time on it, two Emperor 400s and an Aquaclear 110. What do you guys think that i should do to get rid of the greenish water? Is there something that I can add to the tank to help with it? There is no real algea problem and I do weekly water changes. I only feed 2x a day and never more than the fish can eat.

If it's green, I would say you do have an algae issue. Plus your tank seems way overstocked if I'm reading correctly....

2 Oscars (13 inches) Breading Pair (I hope)
2 Peacocks (4 inches)
2 Aulonocara Jacobfergi (3.5 inches)
1 Aulonocara Rubescans (3 inches)
1 Ahli Peacock (5 inches)
2 Convicts (3.5-4 inches) ALWAYS WITH FRY!!!
1 Crytocara Moorii (5 inches)
1 Green Terror (6 inches)
2 Yellow Labs (3.5 inches)
1 Blue Johanni (4 inches)
1 Chipokae (4 inches)
4 Ciclasoma Nicaraguense
1 Syndodontis
1 Sail Fin Pleco
I would try to avoid sunlight or too much of any light. I think your problem may get worst if your (nitrates) are too high. Is your tank planted?

decrease the amount of light....hence the algea will die off

I have a 125g with a simular situation and I had battled the same water-born algee problem.:( I tried chemicals, more water-changes, feeding habits and as far as lighting, you can see in the picture, I could not cut down on sun light.

I purchased a UV light filter. AWESOME! I have not had a single outbreak and have all the other added benifits of the UV light/filter. It was not cheap, but now I don't have a tank full of of swamp water.

You do not need your lights on that long. Also, is your tank near a window? If it is green, you are dealing with an algal bloom. Right now it sounds fairly mild, and easily can be corrected, but if ignored, you will have a major issue on your hands. There have been a few threads on this before that myself and guppy, and several others have gone into detail on. But to save you the agony of searching through this beast of a site, LOL, here is some info.
