A few new pictures of my 75G. It has a real diatom problem so I was thinking of getting a UV sterilizer pretty soon.
Let me know what you think of it.

Two of the Pseudotropheus elegans 'ngara' x Pseudotropheus elegans 'msuli' fingerlings. I swear, they look exactly like P. elegans 'itungi' or Tanzania Black Acei.

And finally, it's not an African Rift Lake tank but a little Congo backwaters 20G long for my Xenopus laevis. I realize that Xenopus are mostly located in South Africa but they have been found in many streams and waterways in middle Africa as well, so I'm okay with it. Plus I like the dark stained water and the jungle atmosphere it provides. I have two small younglings in a homemade growout box in the tank in the right hand corner, just so she doesn't eat them.

Very nice setups and stock! Is it hard cleaning your 75g (inbetween the rocks and stuff)?
Thank you. I have an alternating current stirring the water in my tank (4 circulation pumps hooked up to a wavemaker) so I literally have no settled waste anywhere in the tank. That, and the Fx5 and AQ110 suck everything up haha.

Those rocks are awesome; great scape!

looks good.....i like the backwater tank
Thank you. All the rocks are locally found limestone and sandstone. A lot of the rockwork and smaller rubble pieces are buried underneath the sand by the constant digging of the mbuna. They change the entire layout of the sand daily haha.

Nice! What brand(s) are your circulation pumps and wavemaker? I'm going to have to save up for those :)

I've got a JBJ oceanpulse wavemaker, 2 JBJ oceanstream 500 circulation pumps and 2 Aqueon 500 circulation pumps. The Aqueons aren't hooked to the wavemaker 'cause they're not a soft start pump like the JBJs are, so they're always on. Overall it provides a nice "wavy" current for the tank.

Cool, thanks man:thumbsup:
