Went down to a state park near me. Every spring and fall they stock rainbow trout for fishing. The trout are sterile I believe - the river isn't big enough to sustain an actual population so it's purely to attract campers and fishermen/women. I brought the spinning gear with, but I stuck with the fly rod/reel and eventually had some success.

Busted out the ole GoPro. Got some decent shots and used youtubes new video editing tools. Came out pretty decent. :D

Shot with a GoPro Hero2 HD

Nice. I've only had the opportunity to get rainbows twice in my life. One of the reason's Florida kinda sucks in some ways. Atleast in my opinion.

Thanks. The only reason I'm able to get these guys is because they are stocked. Otherwise there isn't much opportunity for trout here either. So I take'm when I can. :)

been wanting to get a go pro for a while now do you need any more special housing for filming in the water? been wanting to do some filimng around the dams and few hot spots for gar , striper and fw drum.

I can't remember exactly comes with the basic package... I'm fairly certain though that the case that comes with it is water proof. I've shot a few underwater clips and it's decent. The camera has a hard time focusing on things though unless the water is crystal clear IMO.

Really? The bait I use fights harder then rainbow trout! Id take big game fish any day!

I will admit that what he OP was doing looked like a nice and peaceful way to fish.
