i have an adult male red claw lobster wich managed to get out of my tank 2 weeks ago.
i managed to find him and put him back but he had recived a nip from my dog which put a hole in the saddle part of hisshell.
he seemed fine and 3 days ago strted to mault, hes come out oday shell hardened and looking good.
the original hole has been filled but ont the side of the bite i have noticed that there is a long thin pice of what looks like a string of flesh coming out of the bottom of his shell?
shoud i be worried ? i can get pics on here tomorrow if it helps?
anyone had this happen to them ? any help apreciated !!

im guessing a rare occasion that peoples crays get bitten by lobsters... altho mt dog did get my bala shark. im slightly confused tho. is the wound all healed from the bite? my gut reaction is that he is most likely ok. i seem to notice that the best way to tell if there health is good is if there behaviors stay the same. if hes ben acting very wierd lately than it might be of concern. pictures would defintiely help also.

cheers guys !! will try and get some pics up in an hour ! his behaviour is normal but its just realy weird like some of his soft flesh has fallen out of his shell !
cameras at work with pics so il put them on as sonn as i get there

no the best shot ikno but best i could get with little time !
the fleshy part is only on his right side and starts from where his legs attach to the underside of his body.
it looks like a long slim feather of flesh but it starts directly below the half healed hole the dog left !!
any ideas ??
